Install the Adobe DNG codec to natively import Cinema DNG into Vegas Pro. Though it would read the image file but not the RAW meta data.

O.k., I see. Another cause for your finding could be different frame sizes between your source clip and your project. Do these size match?

Take a look at the small fishes. They are totally different.

Your Pan/Crop window and your preview window show different frames of the video.

There’s a script in the Tools menu which does this. And also there is a script to remove the Timecode FX from all media.

If you have the élastique Timestretch plug-in installed – this would do the job. I think mine came by a Sound Forge Pro install into Vegas Pro.

Yes, the Text Generation Wizzard of Vegasaur can automatically create text event overlays for selected events which uses the active take information or media name for the text. It would not display the file extension (.mp4), but you can’t skip other characters.
In your case this Text Generation Wizzard would create overlays with the name “[dance genre] – [move name]”. -
Set your region in the Trimmer window instead which then will create Media Markers/Regions.

If you used the Titles&Text then Vegasaur has an option to do this. Without a scripting tool like this, I doubt there is a way.
