Envelope Audio Speed
Hi everyone:
I’ve been looking for hours for some method or plugin that allows me to automate the speed of the audio but I haven’t found anything that satisfies me. I have downloaded a plugin called TapeStop but it has a flaw: you can not maintain the speed of the audio, just make it faster or slower. The only software I have discovered that can do it is After Effects with its time remapping tool, but I wanted to know if there is any method in Vegas or other editing software that allows you to automate the speed of audio.

If you have the élastique Timestretch plug-in installed – this would do the job. I think mine came by a Sound Forge Pro install into Vegas Pro.

I’ve read about that too. The problem is that I didn’t want to use another software for something so occasional. Anyway, I finally found that Adobe Audition has an effect that modifies the audio speed. It’s called Pitch Bender (process). Here, a tutorial.
