Let’s say I have a 100 timeline Events (I would call them clips), each of them with a named Region from start of finish of the Event, and I want to change the order of Events. How can I get Regions to move with their Events?
I turned on “Auto-Ripple: All Tracks, Regions and Markers”, and selected a region, then I cut the Event (ctrl-x), then pasted it two scenes / events later.
The region for the Event shifted to the left.
If I don’t have auto-ripple on, the Region stays where it is.
How can I get Regions to move with their Events?

    Hi Christine,

Markers are timeline based, not event based. That’s part of the reason they are difficult to get to follow an event.

Can I ask you, why do you use region markers? Maybe their is a better way to accomplish what you want.

    Best Regards……George

Set your region in the Trimmer window instead which then will create Media Markers/Regions.

Thanks. I think Marco’s suggestion will work well.
