Use the High Quality VBR preset, it’ll do the job nicely.
Transcoding to DVD takes a LOT of time in Premiere, so be patient.

    Thanks Richard!

Well, it’s basically a very big wish of mine, because I just can’t get used to monkeying around with the mouse and the interfaces exist. So I guess it wouldn’t be all that hard for adobe to write support for this ?

For me the two most eagerly awaited possibilities would be :

    1) real multi-cam editing, FCP does it already.
    2) Ability to use Firewire or USB connected audio mix surfaces like the TASCAM or the Mackie DAW desks.
Beats the hell out of trying to mix witha mouse and would avoid having to go to an other app for
simple or even complex audio mixdown jobs.

    That two already? D*mn !!

There is an amazing tutorial on the Trapcode side made by the guys from Belief.
Go and watch it, even if you don’t have particular, it’s jaw dropping.

This is the direct link to the tutorial

After that, you’ll want to buy the plugin if you need to make crowds …

    Thanks Chris!
I thought it was something in that direction, but wasn’t entirely sure.
I’m gonna try this and get back to you with the results.

If my memory serves me right, there is a DVCPRO plugin from Mainconcept, but I could be wrong…
Nope, it’s a codec but I guess it’ll work in Ppro.

I think that if you keep the CTRL (or the command) key depressed while dragging you swap both clips.

Just open your Premiere porject file in AE.

    Works flawlessly.

You’ll have to render out to a movie to get it back into PP though.

Yes, you can use ripping software such as the Imtoo DVD ripper.
Depending on the codecs installed you can even rip to avi or quicktime.

This software only works on Wintel systems if my brain doesn’t fail me.

    Cheers,

    Marc
