I use Canopus Procoder 2 for these tasks.

Pretty good, easy to use and decent results.

Yes indeed, this is the third time because I’m not getting the desired results.
Is this bothering you that I’m posting because I’m STUCK ?

And if I’m not wrong, this is a forum that’s made for this sort of things no ?

I tried the techniques before posting here and its not working out, so maybe someone else
has a different idea or approach.

Thanks for your reply anyway and sorry if I have bothered you with my repeated postings.

I guess the most accurate way would be to rotoscope them out.
    Tedious and slow …

Maybe someone has a better idea for this ?

Chris thanks for your reply but not entirely the effect I was looking for.

Here is an example of this effect

    Any suggestions ?

I think there was a plugin from Digital Anarchy in the making for this purpose.
Don’t know if it’s out yet or not.

    Try this for your settings:

Go into After Effects 6.5/Support Files/interpretation rules.txt and add this line to the bottom

    1440,1080,*,”.AVI”,”CFHD”=”1440/1080/”HDV,l,*,*

    Should work nicely;;;

    Have fun!

Have a look at the Arkaos VJ software. http://www.arkaos.net

You encode your cilps to Photo JPEG in Quicktime format and it runs perfectly.
Your will have to deinterlace your footage though.

I used a Arkaos system on a BIG live event where 18,000 persons were watching and
    it ran smoothly.
Arkoas is developped juste for these things, runs of a standard PC (but you’ll need
some horsepower) and can be triggered by a lot of input devices. I used a MIDI keyboard
to map all the clips and had 400 clips at the tips of my fingers instantaneously.

Jeff, thanks for the great help.

This is a huge blow and we hope to recover the equipment and do not so
nice things to the people who stole the items…

Again, thank you very much for the support.

What is your intended target ? Computer or TV?
What are your settings for export?

Is it graphics with horizontal lines or pure video ?
