I wouldn’t classify he people who come out of Idol as stars. They are just well marketted products. Raw talent isn’t getting them coverage, their PR firm that is paid by Idol is getting them coverage.

Mac users use QT the rest of the world uses AVI. On my PC I can read and write any PC or Mac format because I have a ton of codecs. Mac users however generally have to buy codecs at a premium directly from apple and therefore have limited options unless they have bottomless wallets.

The label fronts the money for everything and it is considered an advance loan. The artist then pays for it with the proceeds of record sales and ticket sales. Generally the label decides how the artist’s money is spent. Generally the label will dictate how much is spent on what is in essence a 3 minute ad for the labels product (the artist).

I’ve had my wacom for 12 years and I love it. I use a mouse for general UI stuff, and AE. I use the wacom for photoshop, illustrator, and paint tools in AE. I also use the wacom for AE motion sketch since its easier to move fluidly. Your wacom will last a lifetime. Mine is old and yellowed and the pen is the old thin one, but it still works like the day I bought it.

It looks like he is on an plexiglas platform raised above the floor m inside a green screen stage. The camera is on a jib arm and just went from above him to below the plexiglass looking up through it at the sole of the shoe.
