something like a rapid hair removal solution ?
hello,
I have to remove a lot of hair on a 2k film…
So much hair that I’m looking for a rapid removal solution.
The clone tool in AE is not the right way to me because of a lot of pan movement.
I’ve try the CC wire removal plug in which is a good idea of displacement+fade way for straight line…what about a tool for curves ? Something able to work along a rotobezier mask for example.
Please, I hope your advice

I think you might want to look at Mokey from Imagineer Systems (https://www.imagineersystems.com/). Any way you cut it it’s going to be a pain in AE, Mokey would make it a lot easier although not necessarily automatic!

Ouch… If the hair is only there for a frame or two then the clone tool might give you okay results. But I’m tellin’ ya, I saw mokey in action at NAB and it would make quick work of this.

Mokey is also really really expensive. Somewhere around $9000-12000US for fixed of floating licenses.

Unfortunately, each hair are fixed across a lot of take…
In fact, do you think that Mokey can remove such hair over long shot ?
and do you think it’s realist in term of working time / rendering time ?
(mokey tracker seems to be very long to perform such good job)sebastien
