You’ll have to link them manually in Premiere, Alby. Just like you would with the CD Audio files.

Premiere does not like CDA (CD Audio) files. I suggest you take them into Audition and convert them to WAV files.

[Herb Sevush] “For the most part I make PBS cooking shows and I can’t see the call for 3D here – hell, it took years before HD got a foothold and still today most cooking shows are still shot in SD. When someone asks for 3d I’ll be quite happy to learn and oblige, but I’m not holding my breath.”
I just caught … quite by accident … one of your “America’s Test Kitchen” episodes on the local PBS station, WTTW in Chicago.
Nice show … and they actually ran the credits slow enough that I saw your name pop up a couple of times.
It was one of those “Hey, I know him …” moments.

Hi Ron –
I sent you the URL directly.
You’ll notice that it is an unusual configuration, but quickly becoming very common (at least with HP).

Hi Ron –
That is the complete URL, Ron.
As I said, the second “https://” is being added, which of course makes the whole URL corrupt.

[Joe Bandy] “Other than upgrading my operating system what else can i try?”
The new Matrox drivers are officially posted today (4.1.0.25) which you might try, although I was using the public beta (4.1.0.23) when I ran the tests.
I really would … strongly … suggest V64 and more RAM.
Pr with Matrox is quite good if you have the system set up right.

You don’t say whether you’re on an Axio LE system, or an RT.X2 … so you should temper my findings accordingly.
On my Axio LE2, Vista 64, Adobe CS 4.1, Matrox 4.1, dual quad / 8 GB RAM system (HP xw8600) system I found no problem whatsoever in exporting a variety of FLV files using your settings, and originating with source files all the way u[p to 1920 x 1080.
None of them were “m2t” files, however … so that may be the rub.
Personally, I would not recommend using XP32 anymore. Vista 64 runs circles around it, and allows the much-needed RAM (Premiere used 6 GB while doing the export).
I see you cross-posted this, so I’ll do the same.

The connection bandwidth is not really much of a problem (if you have DSL or Cable). All you’re doing remotely is controlling the editing system … all the data is local to that system.
I run Premiere Pro (both CS2 and CS3) on office systems from home routinely. I use a program called LogMeIn (the free version). I also use it to take control of client computers and do the same thing remotely for diagnostic purposes.
LogMeIn does reduce the color space, however, so you’re not going to be able to accurately handle image quality issues. It certainly works for rough cuts tho … as long as you don’t mind a slight “lag” in responsiveness.
