[Reid VanVoris] “Does any one know when will Motu’s V3HD be out?”

    Should be any day now.

    SRP is $2,995.

[Aanarav Sareen] “Check out Flash (FLSH) also. Comes highly reccomended from CitiBank”

I heard last week that they’re planning to issue another 8 – 10 million shares, and I believe Citigroup is the underwriter.

    Great idea, guys.

For starters, Andrew Corp. (ANDW – makers of coax and microwave antennas) is up today on news that ADC Telecom is proposing a buyout at 30% above yesterday’s closing price. Volume over 20 million shares so far …

    Tim –

[Tim Kolb] “…and last night it was anything but a “dry cold” in Chicago.”

Yesterday was very strange! We had heavy thunderstorms, lightning, tornado warnings … and then freezing cold, snow flurries and tonight it’s supposed to get down to -10F (or -30F wind chill if you really want to feel cold …). Probably much worse up your way. Apparently it’s time to ‘pay the piper’ for our extremely mild winter.

Might even have to get out the snow plow on Saturday …

Yes. It is, in fact, what we’re using.

    Philippe –

We’ve found a dramatic increase in real time performance when switching from dual Xeons (HP xw8200) to dual dual-core Opterons (HP xw9300) utilizing the Matrox Axio system with HDV sources.

As always, the faster the better … but those differences are small compared to the enhancements from the AMD dual-core architecture.

I heard there was quite a buzz going on over here … wow!

Let me just add a tiny note right here, Herb

[Herb Sevush] “Output – PPRO has the ability to burn DVDs from the timeline; unfortunately this feature rarely works, at least in my case.”

I use this all the time, and I have to say it’s worked for me. Never had a bad burn. For kiosks, trade shows, etc., it’s a huge timesaver.

[shane chadder] “Can you buy Axio as a boardset, or are they only selling “certified” systems?”

    Certified systems only.
