    Hi,

I’m working on a project in Premiere CS5.5 with MTS files that were sent by the client.
But every time I open the project or even during editing, Premiere begins to make conforming files, and it is almost impossible to work.
    A error occurs:
“An unspecified error occurred while performing a conform action on the following file: drive/folder/namefile.MTS 4800.cda”

Is there any way to stop this, or another way to import the MTS files?

    I’m using Premiere CS5.5 on a PC win7 64bits with Matrox MXO2 Mini.
    The files properties is:

    File Path: P:\filename.MTS
    Type: MainConcept AVC Import
    File Size: 1,3 GB
    Image Size: 1440 x 1080
    Frame Rate: 29,97
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – 6 channels
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – 6 channels
    Total Duration: 00:34:19:00
Average Data Rate: 673 KB / second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,3333
    Video: H264/AVC – top field first – 16.000 Mbit/sec
    Audio: Dolby Digital – 48000 Hz – 32 Bit – 6 Channels

    Thanks in advance.

    Allby.

    Allby –

Premiere does not like CDA (CD Audio) files. I suggest you take them into Audition and convert them to WAV files.

    Thank you, Lyn,

Is possible I take the clips into Audition convert to WAV and have this new audio attached with video?

You’ll have to link them manually in Premiere, Alby. Just like you would with the CD Audio files.
