That looks fine.
What media do you use in that project? (Media properties?)
Is there some pan/crop applied to it?Best regards

November 7, 2016 at 10:28 am in reply to: Samsung Galaxy S7 in SonyVegas Magix. Problem with pixels, focusHi,
In addition to the above, I tried the file in Vegas 10, 13, 14, Potplayer, VLC player, and also my dedicated media player box Popcorn Hour. All of them showed the exact same artifcats, so I would say the file itself is defect.
Best regards

I reread your post, and do I undestand right, you mention vmix and not able recording inputs?
Tomorrow I’ll ask the guy with VMix how it really goes?
I’m quite sure, we, the cameramen didn’t have to push rec button on our cameras last time.Best regards

Hi,
This may not be your solution, but who knows?
There’s a software called VMix for online broadcasting.
This does a huge lot of things, cuts, transitions on the fly, also recording output channel as well as input channels independently.
I saw it was used with HDMI capture cards, and connected 4 sources (cameras, and a PC output).
May be it works with USB cans too…
I’m not a master of this software, just used to work in a team using it for onkine broadcasting…
May be you could rake a look at it.Best regards

Hi,
Open Vegas 13, then open Vegas14. In V14 open your source project.
Copy something on the timeline to the clipboard, then switch to Vegas13.
Don’t close Vegas 14, just switch to V13, and do the paste.
I tried this method before I actually suggested to Scott, and found it working.
I could transfer even the track motion keyframes to the other project in V13 this way.Best regards

…and the your client in that long time cooperation wants you to work with Adobe Premier:
-because he has the licences for Adobe systems, and has all the editing workstations, and grants you the access to them, and you have to work on his editing systems instead your own hardware at your home or in your office:
Valid reason, you either have to learn to drive Premier, or miss the job.-because he needs to have the project file to further edit, for example you just do the major work, and they do finish on it, and they have Adobe licences, and require you to be able to produce a compatible project, so they really can finish that project:
Valid reason.-because he thinks the job needs to be done is impossible to do in Vegas (or FCP) -based on previous bad experiences with other incopetent Vegas (or FCP) users- but you know it can be done (easily?):
Invalid reason. You need to convince him, that you are not an incopetent / amateur Vegas user, and despite his beliefs, Vegas is a capable software with an excellent price/value ratio, and this is why you like to work with it.
I would even take a very small part of the job for free as demo. (I already did such thing, and I usually win ? ) There’s only to loose the time and work put in this small part, if the job is lost, but the gain is much greater, if you get the job, and you can do it with you favourite NLE, be it Vegas or FCP.Best regards
