The easyest way is to just crop it out.
The second easyest way is to buy the full version, which does not place the watermark there.Best regards

All this suggest me, that the prolem is specific to your computer, and it’s not really a Vegas roblem.
I’d try to reinstall the OS and Vegas (on a separate new HDD), just to try if it’s still present.
If the reinstall does not cure, then I don’t know…
But you’ll still have your original HDD with the original installations.Best regards

May 15, 2017 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Vegas Pro 13.0 – “An error occurred while creating the media file […]. The reason for the error could not be determined.”I’m out of ideas, sorry.
I have V13 build 545, which is already a Magix build. If you have build 453 which is the latest Sony build (I think), that may have a bug…
You may try Vegas14 trial, just to see if it works as you expect it to work?Best regards

May 15, 2017 at 11:10 am in reply to: Vegas Pro 13.0 – “An error occurred while creating the media file […]. The reason for the error could not be determined.”It should work.
If you did not tweak any other settings, it should work.
I did the same here just right now.
Took the builtin 1080p template, changed bitrate (both avg and max) to 28 Mbps.
I changed then the framerate, first tried 59,940 (double NTSC) then tried 60,000 too.
Both worked.
Does the file exist you are trying to render to?
If yes, is it possible, that this file is open and locked (maybe by Vegas itself, for example if you try to overwrite a file via render, but that file is also part of the project – it’s on the timeline or somewhere in the media bin)?Best regards

It definitely can be used to move things precisely.
You need to find the zoom controls both along time axis and X/Y and learning how keyframes work.
The same applies to track motion, which gives another way of moving possibilities.Best regards

full HD 60p @28Mbps what? MXF? AVC? (Sony or Mainconcept?)Did you tweak any render setting? If yes, what setting of which template?
If not, which template do you try to render to?
Do you have write peission in the folder where you need to place the rendered file?Best regards

May 14, 2017 at 8:06 pm in reply to: Vegas Pro 13.0 – “An error occurred while creating the media file […]. The reason for the error could not be determined.”Hi,
another reason can be if very bad render settings are specified. For a really wild example, mpeg with 575*357 resolution.
So what are your project/render settings?Best regards

Is it by any chance an external or network drive? If the answer is yes, there may be some connectivity problems.
If it’s internal, some AV might interfere with file creations, but not sure.
What antivirus do you use, if any?
Or some file-syncing stuff, which monitors that folder?Best regards

For me Vegas 10 still just works, if I start it. I can add media, playback timeline, render, etc., basically anything…
I’m on Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit. Don’t need a VM to run it, it launches natively.
However didn’t need it since Vegas 14, but kept it installed just in case. ☺Best regards

I would just drop the 60p media to the 24p timeline. Vegas will work with it just fine. You can then apply 0.4X playback speed, in that case the motion will be slowed down, still Vegas will use all the frames present in the 60p media.
So the slowmo will be smooth, if that’s your question ☺
I don’t think, stabilization will work any worse on 24p timeline, but I rarely use stabilization, so I’m not so sure at this point. Maybe othersw will have a better idea ☺Best regards
