go check out aharons tutorial on outlining then add the blur effect to the outlined duplicated layer . its really easy and would be the quickest way for you to get the effect you want. aharon is the man .

twaek the scale opacity . tint . effects to create something simliar or just buy andrew kramers new plugin that does all the work for you called twitch . should be out really soon next week or so .. that would be your best bet

fractical is the way to go .. ive seen some guys like anvel . that are insanely genius with fractal noise .. mess with it for awhile and ul get something good

go over to trapcode people website they have a aep file with what your looking for . you jus open it up and it shows you how its done .

your going to half to chop the files into pieces .. many many programs out thier to do that for you for free .. ive done this before . when i couldnt load up a video into my editor because it was to large . (before i used vegas) grab a free prog chop the video into tons of pieves grab the pieces u want to use .

ive also noticed some really glitchy preview play backs .. even when i have it on draft half quality or even qrtr . sometimes parts of my videos wont even play back .. jus stops music keeps going then skips a few seconds . i thought vegas was alot more stable .. im sure thier is something im missing … hopefully . any help would be so greatly appreciated
