Hi Craig

I realise your post was some time ago but wanted to check if you had found a solution to this problem. I am encountering exactly the same thing ie. I can only render the whole sequence and am unable to render just my selection from it.

If you figured this one out it would be great to know the answer.

Hi Terry

Not sure if you have figured this out yet but when you export from FCP using compressor you will need to create a seperate audio file as well as the MPEG2 (from memory I think the type of audio file I use is Dolby Digital 5.1). You then import these both into DVD Studio Pro and drag them both onto a track. At least this is the way I always do it and I have never had any problems.
Re exporting the sequence, my method is to select the timeline, mark and in at the beginning of the sequence and mark an out at the end of the sequence then export. I never highight an indiividual clips and am not sure what effect this would have.
