    Hi Aaron,
I couln’t get realtime audio into the timeline, for narration or music etc…and I also could not make the timeline play with a Firewire interface or many other solutions.
Many forums postings did not get a response for me.

    This is regarding the SR-2.

Of course, the onboard Realtek worked well, but it will not permit synced realtime audio.

Did you get it to work?

    Hi Fred, Others,
In 2 weeks…around the same time Adobe releases CS6 to market, DELL will release the new T7600 line of workstations that will absolutely smoke the editing market.

Look it up on Youtube…DELL T7600

    Dual Xeon sandy-bridge, CUDA, etc…
That, Fred, is what you need to purchase. Get your money back, or put it on Ebay. This is not a faecisious remark. We almost went your route a week ago, but upon learning of this development on the YouTube, we are holding off for a couple more weeks. The benchmarks (PASSMARK) for dual CPU Sandybridge Xeons is incredible….
I wish you the best of luck,

    Hello All,
I usually follow Colombo logic, so thinking about my own 48GB 24 Core
    Dual Xeon…Hmm…what just changed, I thought…

I noticed Skype, of all things was now running in the background.
I quit Skype and PPro began to work once more.

I think this…if you have a webcam or Firewire device that is hogging an interupt or nagging the CPU process list it may prevent PPro from functioning correctly.

Hope this helps and I only found out because my PPRo just did the same thing. Skype on, PPro timeline fails to respond.

    Thanks,

    Hello All,
Follow these steps and let me know please…
    Turn On Caplocks.
    Open AE CS5.5
    Send comp to renderer
start render, wait for OpenGL report, click OK
Immediately stop render, turn off caps lock.

Should work, work for me repeatedly on any 3d effect project.

    🙂
