    << Do either apply?>>

Thanks for responding Dave… Yes, I’m using HD movies; and I can see where it would take longer. I just don’t know why each SUBSEQUENT render takes exponentially longer than the previous one (even though they’re all basically identical).

Well, I’m blown away by it – it’s amazing. The only thing that I can think of is that it’s ALL done in 3D (though the people look pretty real). I can’t imagine the work that went into it tho….

Do you know EVERYTHING?! After YEARS of frustration, this little alteration seems to have worked… ONCE again, many thanks! I urge everyone who’s been having problems to try it.

    Best,

I’ve tried this but it only gives me a new view of the same window. I need TWO separate windows – one of a main comp, and one of a comp within that main comp. When I alter the comp within the comp, I’ll see the changes (side by side) in the main comp. Even with 2 views selected I can’t get it to work.

    Tim,

We currently run Deko now – which the Chyron Channelbox will eventually replace. I haven’t used the Deko, but the guy who does sees a lot of parallels with Chyron… it’s somewhat challenging and cumbersome to set up.

I’d be curious on how to go about doing this too. The THINKING behind the Lyric is somewhat ingenious – being able to update text and graphics externally and on the fly; persistent messages. Unfortunately a complete pig is wrapped around those ideas….

    Is the angel chroma keyed?

It’s possible only if you bring all the separate projects into ONE project. I’m not aware of projects updating externally….

Sorry I’m late to this party.. I use Invig a lot for large signs and billboard pieces. Your best bet is to create a smallish comp (say 640 x 480) in the aspect that you’ll need it. One you get it perfect, save it. Now, make sure that you’re in Draft Mode and change the comp size the the new huge size (6400 x 4800), select the Invig layer and Command-Shift-Y to call up the Layer settings. Then select ‘Make Comp Size’ to enlarge the layer (do NOT scale the layer)… Keep it in Draft mode (because it’ll take forever to refresh) and export a frame. If you save the larger size, again, make sure you save it in Draft mode so it calls up quickly. Oh, by the way, they look GREAT in print!

    Hope this helps,
