Open comp from another project
I need to be able to use some animations that I have created in several separate projects, but would like to be able to edit the animations in their original project, and have the edits also occur in all of the instances of the animations that are used in other projects. Is it possible to open a comp from one project in another, and still maintain the link to the original comp?

It’s possible only if you bring all the separate projects into ONE project. I’m not aware of projects updating externally….
