It’s a couple-step process for a map that has moving images:

You’ll import a movie or create a comp with the images that you want to map onto the screen. Bring this comp or movie into the comp that has the Invig layer. In the Invig Effects Control window, select the layer that contains the comp or movie that you want to map under Layer Maps (on the bottom of the effect window). Next go into the Edit mode (click the red ball) and select the color ball that you want to use as the map. The top square has a place to select the Layer Map. You won’t be able to see if it works until you exit the edit screen and have the layer at full (not draft) mode.

    Hope this helps,

Another way is to add a couple keyframes in the beginning and end of the flare path. Next, double-click the Layer to bring up the Masks, Anchor Point and (little known) Effects path. From here Select the Flare and you’ll see a path bezier. You can now curve the path using the tangents.

    Hope this helps,
