    Hi Allan,

HD can only be transmitted via Component or HDMI. Composite and S-Video connections do not support HD video.

    Hi guys,

Thanks very much for your feedback.

We’re currently working on implementing a very popular compression format that everyone has been requesting and that’s very close to being done. We should be able to support TC as well and I’ll have the guys look into this as a priority.

[Mark Walleman] “Let’s say you record 3, 5-min clips. You can only review/play the most recently recorded clip.

    Hi Mark,

This is certainly not the case. I suspect there’s more going on. You should be able to browse through all your recorded clips just like a CD player. Have you contacted technical support?

January 29, 2012 at 11:44 pm in reply to: Shuttle 2???

    Hi,

As mentioned earlier, HyperDeck Shuttle uses a different chipset to HyperDeck Studio as power consumption is important in a portable device. The bigger chipset in HyperDeck Studio means we can provide a firmware update to incorporate DNxHD support but we cannot do this for HyperDeck Shuttle without changing the hardware. If we could fit DNxHD into the older design, we would have done it.

  • Hi Todd,

No, they don’t operate as 2 independent input channels, only as part of a stereo pair (left eye and right eye) or as a dual link 4:4:4 pair.

    Hi Chris,

For the audi to o be ahead of the video in this instance, there must be dropped video frames happening. Can you please let me know if the record light on the unit is flashing while you’re recording? This will indicate dropped frames. Thanks.

    Hi,

If you connect it to your host computer and download the beta software, the software window will tell you that a HyperDeck Shuttle 2 is connected.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we cannot update the older units to support DNxHD. In order to accommodate the DNxHD codec, a bigger chip has to be used in the product. We’ve have been quietly shipping HyperDeck Shuttle 2s a couple of months ago and this update will allow the newer units to use DNxHD.
