    Hi Matthew,

This means you’re dropping frames when recording. What SSD are you using? Are they on our list of qualified ones?

February 8, 2012 at 11:04 pm in reply to: Blackmagic Desktop 9.2 Beta 2 – not working for me

    Hi,

    Did you restart FCPX?

FCPX will only pick up the single output option specified in the Blackmagic preferences. For example, if you set 1080p 23.98 in the Blackmagic preferences and start FCPX, the only option you’ll see is 1080p 23.98. This is regardless of what your timeline format is as FCPX will convert the output on the fly to match your required output.

Say you want to change the output format to 1080i50, then you’ll need to do so in the system preferences and then restart FCPX for it to pick up the new format.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Hi Lorenzo,

Your reseller should be able to help you organise the RMA. I’ll bring this to the attention of our tech support team in your region.

February 7, 2012 at 8:42 pm in reply to: Black Magic Intensity Pro Svideo out

    Hi Allan,

Unfortunately no. Intensity Pro cannot do simultaneous HD and SD output. If you need an S-Video output, enable the down conversion settings in the preferences and the S-Video output will work. However, this means your HDMI output will also be in SD.

[Tyler Edwards] “In my experience with the Hyperdeck I couldn’t browse clips or playback any other clips on the drive except for the last played clip. Not a HUGE issue for my install, but an issue none the less. I’m very excited to see what compression format you are rolling out and definitely the timecode.

That’s really strange. What video format are you working in? 1080i59.94? PAL?
