It depends on what format your output video is. The down conversion works with 1080i59.94 and 720p59.94 to get NTSC, 1080i50 and 720p50 to get PAL output.

Is down conversion selected in the Blackmagic control panel?

David,

Looks like the card is not detected in your system. Go into the Blackmagic control panel which you can find in your Windows Control Panel and see if your card is detected. If it is, the Blackmagic control panel will say “Intensity Pro” right at the top. If the options are greyed out, then the card is not detected.

Hi Mike,

As Intensity Shuttle connects to the host computer and streams uncompressed video directly to it, you won’t need a hardware encoder. Just use your computer to compressed on the fly when capturing.

Intensity Extreme has been shipping for more than a week from our manufacturing plant.

If you’re getting information that this has not been released from your reseller, then I suggest double checking with another. Most resellers will have back orders to fulfil first.

Hi Paul,

They have been shipped out from our manufacturing plant to our sales offices worldwide on Feb 10. They will then make their way down the distribution channel which shouldn’t take long more than a few days. Interesting enough, I saw this posted by a reseller in Japan.
