  • Hi,

We hear you guys, hence we will be releasing Media Express 2.0 which will replace Blackmagic Deck Control. Not only will it capture more than 2 channels of audio, it will also have batch capture and playlist functionality.

    Did I mention it’s free?

    Hi,

The current HDLink software only controls one device. However, the settings do stick even when disconnected from the USB connection if that helps.

    Hi,

OnLocation CS4 will not work. However, There is still the current version of Media Express (PC) and Blackmagic Deck Control (Mac) if you need to record something on the fly without invoking a dedicated NLE.

  • Hi Frank,

How much space is in your boot disk? Framelink uses that as the temp storage when doing the DPX to Quicktime conversion and there’s what the “not enough space” is referring to.

May 6, 2009 at 8:54 am in reply to: DeckLink HD Extreme, Color and RGB

    Hi Keith,

The HD Extreme 2 has a 3 Gb/s SDI output which means the RGB 4:4:4 signal is sent via a single BNC connection instead of 2. If your monitor supports a 3 Gb/s SDI connection, you’ll be able to monitor out of Color in RGB 4:4:4 with the card.

    Hi,

To add on to Luke’s suggestion, why not mirror your Ultrascope monitor using the DVI Extender into the Videohub. That way the Ultrascope’s output will always be available to any monitor in your facility!

    Hi Salman,

For questions like these, I would recommend signing up with our developer list instead.

The SDK v1.2 does not support keying features but this is something we will add later.

April 17, 2009 at 12:01 am in reply to: Multibridge Pro (ver. 1) – is it dead?

    Hi Adam,

The fan could be working but it’s possible that the power supply may be faulty and not supplying enough juice to the unit. Any chance you can test out the power supply (if you have a volt meter)?
