Yes, both RS422 and RP188 timecode will be supported and the files will be tagged correctly.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. As Utrascope is designed to be technically accurate, having a larger display will help in aligning the waveforms against the graticles. We’ve all spent time squinting at tiny waveform monitor displays to check our levels so it will be nice to be able to do it comfortably.

However, your feedback is still valuable and we’ll definitely look into it.

Thanks for the update but you’re correct. PS3 will always have HDCP turned on and only in the dev kit can you disable it.

Yes, it will work with older Blackmagic Design cards.

Yes, you can master out to tape from it just like the current Blackmagic Deck Control application.

Something like the DeckLink Studio card (PCIe x1 lane) will support external keying mode in SD.

Hi,

Ultrascope is currently designed to work with a 1920×1200 screen. I would recommend a low cost 24″ monitor for work and a separate HDTV for pleasure. 🙂

Hi Brad,

It’s possible that there’s a conflict with your Kona card. Have you tried removing the Kona card to see if anything changes?

What is your HDMI source?

Is you connect the output of the card to a monitor, do you get picture?

Is there a input selector switch on the Betacam deck given you were using S-Video previously?
