    Nope. Converting would be a waste of time and disk space. You don’t gain quality by up-converting. You are stuck with the source quality as shot.

    Over 120 is pushing it, but it depends on the shot. There are some plugins that are supposed to do a little better job at scaling up footage.

    Adding noise reduction might help, but it will also introduce some more fuzziness.

  • I second using reshape. I think it will do what you are asking. Do a quick search for a tutorial.

    Warp stabilizer would help it out. You can download CS6 for 1 month to test it out. It is quite impressive.

    Nevermind. Still learning Premiere and this old dog made a newbie mistake. Playback resolution was set to “half” when the new sequence was made.

    I hope you all have a wonderful day! 😉

    I’m having similar issues, but using Premiere with Aja LHi. If I go preview a file in finder, audio starts to go wacky in Premiere. Really a pain. Hope there is an answer.

    “Actually, we built an entirely new workflow to adapt to Adobe’s media management and we’re quire happy with that.”

    Can you expand on this Walter? It is somewhat OT, but I’d love to hear about it as I am figuring out my new workflow since switching from FCP.

    Thanks,

    You could probably get something done with “card wipe” or “card dance” rather quickly (if you are familiar with using those plugs). The difficulty would be in getting the alignment done, but after that, there are many options that are easy to get to.

    March 26, 2013 at 9:38 pm in reply to: Can someone tell me how to do this effect?

    1. make desired shape with the pen tool.
    2. add “Wiggle Paths”
    3. Change to suit your needs.
    size=60, detail=1, points=smooth, w/sec=1.5 looked close to me
