This sounds like it could be set up wrong in the AJA control panel. I would contact AJA support on this as I do not have a Kona card to test with. They have remarkable customer service. I swear by ’em.Thanks,

Hi guys,
In the upcoming release of Premiere Pro CC, some plug-in foundries will have transitions that will be in the transitions folder and can be applied in a single track as standard transitions. GenArts comes to mind.Thanks,

HI Dan,
Adjustment Layers are only affected by Effects in the Effects tab, not in the Motion tab, so that can be confusing.There is one exception to the above rule: opacity keyframes in Motion Effects control the opacity of Blend Modes–set to Normal, there is no effect. I think that is what you are experiencing.
What you want to check out is the Transform effect, where you can fade up opacity, and other neat controls. Please check that out.
