are the buttons built within the AE or PP2 video? If so how does Encore know its a button? I am also a little confused over the loop point. I have created a motion background and just let it loop the length of the clip. What benefit would I get from the loop point?
    thanks again

Thanks, I like the Boris idea. We may have Boris with FCP. I am trying to get post-key skin tones to look like they were shot on the location I have them on. So far adjusting the contrast and brightness has helped alot.
    I’ll let you know.

Thanks, thats what I believe as well. It’s just getting others to believe that all doesn’t have to be in focus.

I’m using 2.0, I did figure out what the problem was. For some reason the settings were set to 24p. I changed it back to 29.97 and all was right. Thanks for the assistance.

I captured DV transfered from from Beta and DVCPro. My export was DV.AVI, I didn’t change any of the settings. Do I need to set the field order on the source video, similar to AE? Any suggestions on the AVI settings.
    Thanks

I have tried rendering, it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I have also noticed on playback that the video will slow down then catch up on the monitor. So I am wondering if it is a hardware thing. Anyone have any suggestions on making PP work faster? I have 2.6 ghz processor with hyperthreading and a gig of ram, my video card has 128 mg on it. Should I upgrade my video card or get a card for PP like Matrox has?
    Thanks again.

Thanks for the info, that helps.
At work we jumped into HDV(JVC), I think we did it way too soon. There has been alot of growing pains as a result. I can’t tell you the amount of asprin I have taken because of HDV. Though, I will say the pictures are amazing, but it takes time to learn how to shoot progressive, especially 30p.
