That’s what I was thinking. I actually have twitch and have used for other things but they use that effect so much in that show they would practically have to edit in After Effects. Thanks!

    Hey Nick,

Thanks, it’s a h.264 mp4. I was able to do it using compressor. Strange.

Thanks. I actually do know After Effects. I’ve been taking motion design classes at Art Center. After talking to someone else about it, I think I can re-create the look by parenting all the different clips together and doing a simple horizontal camera slide, using mattes to reveal the individual clips.

I guess the lazy editor in me was hoping for some sort of template or trick.

    Thanks for your help.

I’m playing back on a computer monitor. Like I said, my output is fine. Its when I play the transcoded clips in FCP. It plays 4 frames then freezes for a frame.

I’m viewing the final output with quicktime 7.

I guess what was throwing me off was, when I view the clips in quicktime player they have the proper pulldown, but when I view them in FCP they play back at 4:1. My final output looks looks fine though.

Strange, it worked correctly on one clip but not the other. I’ll try running it again. Thanks for all your help.
