Hey Chris,
I do not think the specs should be an issue because I am always editing footage shot from this camera and have never had this issue.
All of the video from this project seem to be having this problem.
I am running this from an new external drive. Could that be the problem?

I agree that I thought that it were quite strange that people were so enthusiastic about defending a silly chime sound.

It is 7200 rpm 32 mb cache. It is one of the western digital “green” drives.
We are using connecting this through a hard drive toaster connected through esata.

Awesome, that is exactly what I am looking for!
I was afraid I was going to have to do a full 3D movie.
Unfortunately, I have not made the upgrade from CS4 to CS5 yet and the Free Form plugin is far out my price range ($300, at that price I could just pay for the CS5 upgrade)

I just took the digitized footage and put it in a new sequence.
