    Hello,
    I am working on a project and receive the following error.
    “File’s format is too new for this version of the application”

    Do you know if there is a way to change anything to fix it?

    Your version of FCP is probably older than the version used to create the project.

    Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, then run Software Update, located in the Apple menu in the menu bar. Install any FCP or Pro App updates and try again.

    I actually figured it out.
    I just took the digitized footage and put it in a new sequence.
