have you checked the Color management properties of InDesign when you go to print? Are the files you are placing CMYK?

What I’ve discovered is that it’s much easier and on-the-money to set the links from within Acrobat rather then inside the InDesign file.
It can certainly be done, but it sounds as if some cache file has been saved initially. Or, maybe there is a typo?
Regardless, have you looked at the hyperlinks palette to ensure you’ve deleted the url in question?
I’d try saving down to an older version of pdf if you don’t have any other interactivity, then setting the links in Acrobat.
At least that will solve the problem…but the issue of the ‘.be’ is still at large!

Your paths in Photoshop should be present in the Paths palette.
Have you tried placing the actual psd file or is it a tiff or eps file saved with paths?
Are you trying to use one of the paths as a clipping path inside of InDesign or just place the graphic?
It would be more bullet-proof to just rasterize the file and place that copy.

Have you tried creating a blank table and then importing? Are you trying to straight-place an Excel file?

Ok, so I tried that. Now, should the movie when played in QuickTime not be vertically stretched? It is right now.
I don’t know if that means that upon burning a dvd at 16:9 will fix that but the clip straight out of AE is stretched.
I’ll have to add 4:3 stuff later so I’m experimenting to see if I should convert 16:9 to 4:3 or vice versa.

First, you ARE charging for these changes, are you not? This is your first outpoint.
Even something as simple and small as changing numbers should be billed at your minimum hourly charge. How to sell this?
1- The cost of the software.
2- The time to learn the software.It works and is a fair business practice. Not to mention, revenue for you!
However, you could actually produce an interactive document with XML whereby the franchise would go to a website, enter the numbers in a field and then that web page emails that data to them in an XML file which in turn is read by the InDesign file to populate the appropriate fields.
I worked in a publishers whereby articles were submitted online by various authors around the globe. They would enter the headline in a field called “Headline”, story into “story” etc.
Then, they would import the xml into the magazine template where stylesheets would style the type.
Look up XML in the InDesign help files to see how to use this feature.
The only external file you would need would be a php script on the webserver to capture the data and convert it to an xml file which could be found for free by a search.
