After getting rid of all the polygon selection tags and reapplying the textures to a cell phone model originated in LightWave, now when I back the camera away, the textures get all messed up.

I used the Texture tool to resize and move the textures into place – in this case, the numbers for the buttons.

I’ve never had this problem, but I’ve never worked with an imported LWO file either.

Is there some way to keep the textures in place no matter the camera movement or model movement as well?

    Thanks…C4D 8.5

What projection type are you using to apply the textures? some of them move with the camera.

or Right click on the object and in Cinema 4d tags choose stick texture.

I’m using Frontal… I think I tried the stick tag, but it didn’t work..

Frontal projects the texture straight from the camera direction, so any movement of the object or camea will change the appearance.

You have a couple of options to sort this out:

    1. Create a camera from the view that has the textures working, then switch your texture tags to Camera projection and reference the newly-created camera; or

    2. Select the texture tags and run [Object Manager>Tags>Generate UVW Coordinates].

Thanks Adam, using the camera technique worked like a charm!
