March 25, 2006 at 1:41 am in reply to: COW Tutorials: After Effects Fixing Scaling Issues – Part One[Zander] “i love the tutorial don’t get me wrong, just wondring what goes on in the tutorial processing center.”
In order to promote subscriptions to our AE podcast, Aharon asked that the video sized tutorials be delayed by a week. He often renders the sizes at different times and often the larger size is rendered later. If you watch both, you’ll notice in the podcast that Aharon takes special care to make sure that the screen is zoomed in so you can actually see what check box he’s referring to.
Aharon also makes the graphics that go with the article, so that sometimes takes longer as well.
But thanks for loving the tutorials. We love to hear comments like that.

.[RonanR] “Or are they usually part of bundles? Mr Mercury is part of a bundle, as far as I can understand.”
Mr. Mercury is one of the Cycore FX effects. It would be located in a separate folder on the install disc. Once installed, reach it by going to Effect–>Simulation–>CC Mr. Mercury. Of course I have the production bundle of 6.5. Not sure what the path would be for 7.0 and I don’t think you get the cycore effects with the standard version or educational version.

It’s too early for me too, so don’t feel bad. Maybe next year, we’ll organize a big dinner. But on the other hand, the reason we haven’t done a dinner is that all the nights are already taken. 🙁
