  • Many Many (MANY) thanks for taking the time to reply Tod! Much appreciated!

  • I actually found the solution! You can lower them in the Effects Control Panel! Thank you for responding!

  • Many many thanks Eric – will play with your idea for the final frame. I tried applying a solid in the track BELOW and the Rolling credit (black) on the track above covers it .. if I put the solid on the track ABOVE my only option is to change the opacity of the rolling credit and when I do it changes the opacity of BOTH the black and the titles no no good. Am I missing something in your explanation? Appreciate you taking the time!

  • Many thanks .. that does help a LOT!

  • Really appreciate your reply Tod – indeed the two audio clips are linked (so if I click on one of the audio tracks the other is also highlighted. This allows me to cut them simultaneously, or change the gain on both of them simultaneously (“g”) BUT .. when it comes to changing a portion of the clip (like using the pen to create points on the white horizontal audio line, like my “fade out” example), Premiere reads them as 2 independent clips. Not sure if there is a work around for that – maybe it is just that white horizontal audio line (sorry not sure what the right term for that is …) that cannot be linked?

  • Many many thanks for such a quick reply Rob … just 2 questions …

    1. If it is already edited in the timeline (which it is) does that mean I can’t do this retroactively? No way to do it in the timeline?

    2. If you modify the audio channels in this way – how does that effect them when you come to the final audio mix (since 1 channel is a lav and one is a boom mic in some cases so they might need to be dealt with independently in the final mix)?

    Thanks again!

Many Thanks for your reply !!!!! I wonder if there is a glitch in my PP – when I open Audio Gain on a clip that I have changed it shows 0db but the clip is still altered …. please take a quick look at this screenshot and let me know if I am not understanding or PP is doing something strange ….

  • Good morning Stan .. I know your pain. YES I did figure this out for my case .. it wasn’t fun but it did work. I ended up making a complete COPY of my whole project and then relinked my clips with a few manual tips to help PP find them. I don’t know if this will work for you – but it might if your subclips are all in bins with independent names on the bins. I am not sure about multicam and renaming subclips / clips AFTER the fact .. but I made myself an elaborate PDF explanation manual that I am happy to send to you if you give me your email. It references my project (I actually made it for myself in case it happens again) but it has the basic steps I took incl screen grabs of PP and where to find stuff. Let me know if you want more info!

  • OOOoohhhh. NOT into using batteries for my mouse …. other options please ???? (Thanks for the tip)
