You can animate the path of a shape layer any way you want, so make a shape path with no fill and a thick stroke and draw the final shape with it. Then animate the starting point into a line. The motions in between are what make it look good (or not).

I haven’t tried this so I don’t know if it works, but how about you use CC Power Pin data on both the image and the background shot, animating from the on-screen to fill-screen position (reset corner pins for the latter) and 1) reverse the animation of the background so it goes from no distortion to distorted with the unstretch option in the corner pin effect enabled on the background shot.

After Effects has a whole separate Face Tracker tool that would likely be better for this task.

Are you actually using time remapping? That would be my first suspect.

I have the feeling that the effect is already pretty much maxed out at 1.0, especially if you’re at 8-bit. Does anything happen between 0 and 1? Does changing the glow radius do anything?
Have you tried changing the color depth of the project to 16 or 32 bits? I believe that remaps the slider to a different range and 32 bits might allow going beyond the “full” value.Kalleheikki Kannisto

Try adding .value after (“Slider”). Might be that easy.

It is either just moving the anchor point to the edge that is fixed or that and taking the “/2” out of the last line.

If the question is WHERE does this expression go, it would go to the color value either in the layer itself if it has one (such as in shape layer), or the color value of the fill effect, for instance, if you’re using that to color something that doesn’t have color option in it directly.

I would think that replacing the split-at character with period instead of space and using your sentence as the search string would do it. Not that I looked very deep.

Make your life easier by using a track matte instead of a mask. Works like charm when you need to move the mask independently of the layer.
