I guess that would work for just AE, but I need something for the entire suite. Flow also is always working with no need to manually start and stop the clock. I’ll be fine until I do the CS6 upgrade.

I’m so used to bouncing back and forth between projects and not having to worry about how much time I’m spending on each one.

Avid has the DNxHD codec which is free to download and works with Premiere, just use it as a quicktime file.
    Several bit rate options too.

lowering the shutter speed of the motion blur can also give the rain drops more of a tail.

dynamic linking is always sluggish. I would save your color grading to the very end. though I just got 2nd generation i7 processor and DL has been much more responsive.

the comparison didn’t say what lens it had but it’s such a big difference I imagine the AF100 is better in low light even with a slow lens.

interesting article, but I’d still like to see how the gamer cards perform vs the Quadro cards.

How is the P2 card immune to failure?
I would pay the extra money for P2 but they don’t offer AVCHD on the HPX170. The high bit rate DVCProHD is great for some jobs but I do need the lower bit rates of AVCHD on many of my jobs.

I was not so lucky. I sent my card to a data recovery company and they couldn’t recover anything. I had used my card about a dozen times with no problems and it was still under warranty when it died.

Are there any cameras with dual card slots that can record to both cards simultaneously so you could always have a backup? (like RAID 1)
