    Issue solved!

    For the records:

A very helpful posthouse in Hollywood opened my project on FCP 6.0.3 and exported XML for both FCP4.5 & FCP 6.0

Worked like a charm! (just needed to relink media)

Have FCP 4.5 on Panther & FCP 6.0 on Leopard.
I knew by bringing the project into 6.0, that I would lose backwward compatability, but now it wont even open in 6.0.

    Any help would be appreciated

    (Can send Zipped file)

    Thanks David

I assume the issue would resolve when shooting with a pre-tested high shutter speed of course!

Would that be a correct assumption? Or is the V1 not able to perform at higher shutter speeds very well?

Hi guys. I have a moving train, which has a logo on it. It moves by in foreground at a moderate speed, and on any given still frame, the logo is blurred. Can I make this logo less blurred by interpolation, deinterlacing etc….?

    Thanks for the feedback.
Sounds like the old adage of “craft & lighting” wins through.

HDV is a well thought out format it seems.

    All the best

    Hi Rafael

Sometimes it reads as ICODEC….sometimes as APPLE INTERMEDIATE
At one point the ICODEC & APPLE INTERMEDIATE codecs both appeared on the list.

And to make it more confusing….ICODEC seemed to appear/overwrite where one of the HDV codecs previously was on the list

    confusing
