    Thanks Graeme.

    Both Codecs viewed on a PAL moniter.

    Just to confirm. Am I correct in assuming that DV material once captured to a 10bit uncompressed sequence is basically “unzipped” to reveal its highest quality? Then zipped (or compressed) again when going to DV tape. some sort of loss reversal???????

    That helps me heaps to understand how the bit depths work. I use combustion alot and have settled on Blackmagic 10bit.

    Which setting is this, and where do i find it?.

    I also wonder if the Kona 12bit codec, can be made available on the AJA I/O. What do you think?
