Looks to be about 95% practical effects. Probably a fair bit of wire removal. Only oen that looked like vfx was the toothbrush gag, and I suspect that was on a green-stick that was removed with a bit of key and a clean matte. Oh and some things clearly run backwards like the DVDs falling into place. All good examples of how much effects work can be done using practical techniques with excellent results. The old fashion way is better sometimes.

Jay, this should probably be posted in the DaVinci forum. But you are correct, DNxHD in a QT wrapper is not supported by DaVinci.
Resolve doesn’t not support just any QT codec. It only has support for specific codecs. Here is a list of supported codec and wrappers:

In qt pro you can set a trait for each channel. I.e. left, right, center, etc. however I always just export discreet tracks out of the movie and encode individually. I’ve had many sets of mislabeled audio channels so I always check the mapping on a surround sound system.

Do you mean you used the proxy mp4 files from the p2 card? If so… unless you can get the P2 card back or you made a backup of it…. you are SOL. Sorry.

BMD claims you can run fibre up to 28 miles. Reliably I’ve seen fibre runs of several miles. You do need to watch how you run the cable as it’s robust in terms of interference but delicate when being bent.
