Turn Grade on and Off
Posted by William Edwards on March 2, 2012 at 6:24 pmHello!
I’m wondering if there’s a quick way to toggle an entire grade on and off, besides Disable All and Enable all, which doesn’t have a keyboard shortcut. Right now I’m creating a new version that’s ungraded, and toggling between the two. Is that the best work-around? Also, is there a way to disable more than one node at a time?
Thanks!

There sure is. Page 207 of the sacred scripture:
To turn every node off and on at once:
• Press the Up Arrow key to turn off all nodes, and press the Down Arrow key to turn
them on again.Holy Hand grenades.

March 3, 2012 at 11:22 ami just use a programmable button on my wacom for grade off and grade on. i wish davinci would make just one button for this function like color has. push once and grade is on, push again and grade is off. why they had to make it 2 buttons is beyond me. also for individual nodes you can just select the node you want to toggle and turn it on or off.

March 3, 2012 at 5:12 pmYou’ve got to be kidding. You’re actually complaining that turning all nodes on or off is mapped to two buttons that are right next to each other instead of only one button? If you wanted to complain that there’s no current keyboard shortcut for navigating up and down the node tree, I could see that. But this???
Some people just won’t be happy until great programs like Resolve are given away for free. Oh, wait, it IS being given away for free…..

March 15, 2012 at 4:55 amThe up-down arrow thing is good – except when you have some nodes turned off in your node tree, then it turns them ALL back on again… Is there a way to just compare the graded shot to the original shot?
