hmmm….and you can plug in one mic…pretty dandy! thanks for pointing me towards this one. as for recording only on a harddrive or flash card, how are you archiving your footage? just transfer it all (raw) directly to DVD’s, a hard drive on the shelf…what?
any update on the mystery of capturing? can you go back and capture “frame accurately” from a flash drive…any time code on this?

they actually just said they would “prefer” the Pro Res version, but didn’t sound adamant. anyway, i’ll just send them what they’ve asked for until we decide on something different. thanks for your input.

October 8, 2009 at 3:33 pm in reply to: Exporting an image from a video in final cut…although using the deinterlace filter in FCP appears to work, i had used several video stills in a show that looked fine and solid on my monitor, but the network rejected them because they were “jiggly” (even with the deinterlace filter).

Hey Brendan, you could also trash your FCP prefs and it would automatically re-set your pre-roll to 5 seconds. Just a thought, and it might clean up any other pesky problems you might be having as well.
