Rork – thanks for the responding – actually, had teh pixel correction switch on.
Looks fine now – was obviously distorted earlier.

No – it’s 1280 x 1080. It’s a standard HD preset in FCP.

I’ve never had this problem – export from AE as animation – drop into your FCP prject and export as uncompressed 8bit – PAL, if you’re using.
Note – FCP can have issues laying off 8bit files to tape – if you have a RAID – drop the 8bit to the raid and have the sequence read the file from there. Sometimes FCP will drop frames if reading 8bit from local drives.

Try duplicating the layer a few times, scaling up or down sizes and blurring to taste.

YOu’re off to a good start – I think there are some things you can do to make it stronger – music is a good place to start. I think you might want to try to find a more “out of the box” appraoch to your presentation. Think graphically, then find a way to get it on screen.
You’ve just started – so good job – now get back to work.

Bump – thanks for all of them. I’ve dumped many onto the ipod and watch them more than the Lost podcasts.
I’d really love to see a tutorial on using cameras with nested comps to get the infinite stage look.
