Ok I did a video and audio mixdown in avid then it imported fine but when it trys to transcode it keeps freezing. Any solutions? Also, why is it that when I import the timeline the transcode dialouge box doesn’t pop up?

Sorry for the confusion I used proanimator on a separate layer since it is already 3d and I didn’t turn on the 3d switch. My 3d layer is my “floor solid” but it was working just fine until I turned off the 3d switch for the floor solid while working with a separate mask layer. When I went to turn the 3d layer back on it was black? I guess I should have never turned off the 3d switch on my floor solid when working on my mask? Seems strange hope that made more sense? Thank you for your help David.

Thanks, I use digital video but thus far I export either qt ref or qt movie would you suggest always use native dimension and codec boxed checked?

Well I export to a different machine as well as the same one. I’ve noticed a change in color it seems my video gets a little grain to it and loses some darkness of the color. Could you tell me your exact settings.

What do you mean animation out? Animation out of avid? Animation out of AE right but whats the best way to export out of avid in to ae? Thanks
