Encore Freezing when encoding avid file?
I’ve used encore alot and never had a problem but I am on a different computer encore 2.0 and the file from avid is about 40 mintues. I try to import as timeline it imports but doesnt let me transcode before it comes in like it usually did? Instead when I go to build dvd it trys to transcodes but freezes everytime. Trying to figure out my problem here should I use avid codec or no avid codec I’m thinking that doesnt matter but I don’t know what the deal is. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok I did a video and audio mixdown in avid then it imported fine but when it trys to transcode it keeps freezing. Any solutions? Also, why is it that when I import the timeline the transcode dialouge box doesn’t pop up?
