We are suffering Optibase’s decission about Media 100 too. We have iFinish, Media 100i, Media 100 HD and 2 844/X Workstations. But we need a hardware encoder for Mac with PCie. They haven’t products like this but maybe another manufacturer.

I’m getting the same problem. When it happens, I always change the position of one of the keyframes in the timeline (not the keyframe position) one unit and render it again. Then it dissapears. I get this problem using Media 100 HD too

March 9, 2006 at 8:15 pm in reply to: Xserve Raid Question

We have 14 HDs configurations in our Media 100 HD and our Final Cut with Cinewave HD. We tested with 8 drives in RAID5 but the data transfer was 110 MB/s, not enough to work in HD. I recommend the 14 drives in your Xserve Raid.

You can use a filter under Video Category called Bradcast Colors. Another way to do it is to enter in Levels and set output black to 16 and output white to 235. You can use the option Generate Safe Colors under the Boris FX/Graffitti preferences.

We are evaluating the Huge MediaVault 4210. Our problem is to know if this configuration works correctly to edit a 2k film project with Final Cut and Multibridge Extreme. Thanks

We want to send Internet Explorer windows and navigate through the web for a screen projection but the screen is on another room, so is very difficult to navigate if we have to send our main windows to “another desktop”. Our intention is to send the same windows on our main screen via SDI for this projection.

I have ask you in your web support because I needed an answer as soon as possible, and BMD answer me very quick. Thanks for your prompt answer.
