Run the Media 100 Diagnostic to check if the system recognizes the E6000 option (Realtime FX card).

If it’s OK run the test to check the hardware. In this case maybe the bridge cable is damaged.

If not, try to unplug and then plug again your RTFX Card and fit the bridge cable that join the two cards.

    Bye

You can download the Media 100 HD 10.1 from the Media 100 website. Inside the .dmg file are included the Media 100 Codecs that you can install to use them.

We use MPEG StreamClip 1.2 on a G5 Dual 2GHZ, Media 100 HD 10.1 and OS X 10.3.8. Maybe you need to use Apple Software Update to update your OS and try to use StreamClip again. I think you can download an older version of MPEG StreamClip that maybe runs on your environment or try to delete the MPEG StreamClip preferences.

The only thing that doesn’t work for me with StreamClip is exporting with Animation Codec. When I do this, if video levels are illegal, i get some “posterized frames”, but I use Media 100 Pal 720 or 844/X 8bit codecs.

Yo can try it with MPEGStreamClip, an OS X application that can demux vobs and export as quicktime files. It’s quick and free. I think you can download from http://www.alfanet.it/squared5/mpegstreamclip.html

Yes. Captured with the DV-PAL Easy Setup in Final Cut Pro HD. Once captured, I check the information for the files insdie QuickTime Player and all is correct.
