It does look like one. The Vasst Fasst App Audit Assistant plug-in has the option to “Force All Opacity to x %”. Seems to work even if all opacity was changed to 0 %. Maybe Vegasaur has similar options as well?

January 15, 2015 at 9:16 pm in reply to: What’s the main difference between Vegas Pro and Movie Studio?[David Cook] ” can I transfer all unfinished movies and files
over without losing any information?”A couple of things to remember here. Once you’ve saved the file in 13, you can’t open it in 11 anymore. So make copies of your version 11 .vf files first before playing around with them in 13.
And (from v 13 release notes): “When using the 64-bit version of Movie Studio Platinum, third-party plug-ins will work only if they are 64-bit plug-ins. Please check with the plug-in vendor for available updates. You can share projects between 32- and 64-bit versions of Movie Studio Platinum installations, performing editing as needed in 32-bit Movie Studio Platinum and finishing the project in 64-bit Movie Studio Platinum.“ -

January 13, 2015 at 12:31 pm in reply to: I am confused by the different Sony Vegas programs???[Jeff David] ” this touch screen thing bothers me. Is it able to be used without the touchscreen? It’s not viable for me if it is mandatory touch screen.”
Touch-enabled for touch PCs as SCS puts it just means that the buttons are “touch-friendly”, i.e. as JR said “big buttons that some people don’t like” in the new v 13 interface.
You can still use it with your mouse and keyboard, as I think most of us still do.
There’s an honest independent write-up and tutorials on Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum here.
Remember that Movie Studio 13 Suite is the same as Platinum with several add-ons.Seems you’ll probably find MS 13 Suite at about $100 at the moment, if you shop around. Free “peer support” from other users can be found on some of the Vegas forums such as Cow and the SCS Vegas MS forum. These sites have a lot of free tutorials as well.
edit: seems I was s-l-o-w =)

If you purchased Vegasaur 1.x in November, 2014 – upgrade price is only $19.95!”
The regular price is $99.95. -
