[Onemena Ofurhie] “It’s confusing how the solution is the opposite of what others suggested but it was what worked for me.”

I guess that’s why it is an option.

  • [Chris Gitchell] “…I cannot get the “color” choice box to appear…”

I don’t have that box in Vegas Pro vs. 10 to 13.
I’m wondering if you had the “Star Wipe” before.

  • The Split Screen View button pressed and Clipboard in the pulldown menu selected?

  • Try the following advice from the SCS KB article # 2744. It usually works with this MS 13 problem.

    Q. Is there a way to reset the program back to the default settings of when I first installed it?
    A. Close the program. Now press CTRL+SHIFT while double-clicking on the program’s icon to launch it. Continue to hold the CTRL & SHIFT keys until the program is fully up and loaded.
In newer programs, you will see a window that asks “Do you want to reset all preferences to default values?” Place a checkmark next to “Delete all cached application data” and then click Yes.

April 7, 2015 at 1:04 pm in reply to: 5.1 Audio in DVD Architect Studio 5

    DVD A Studio 5 online (F1) Help:
“Audio format: …choose a setting to indicate the format whether you want to use PCM Stereo audio, AC-3 Stereo audio, or AC-3 5.1-surround audio.
Only PCM Stereo audio is available for Blu-ray Disc projects.”

DVD A Pro 5.2 and 6.0 online Help:
“Audio format: …choose a setting to indicate the format whether you want to use PCM Stereo audio, AC-3 Stereo audio, or AC-3 5.1-surround audio.”

You can burn from Vegas timeline with your 5.1 PCM to a disc without any menus.
Vegas Pro 13 (and MSP 13) online Help:
“Burning a Blu-ray Disc from the timeline: …Wave64 (PCM) audio for Blu-ray Disc can use any of the following formats:
48 kHz, 16 or 24-bit, stereo or 5.1 surround (available only for 5.1 surround projects)
96 kHz, 16 or 24-bit, stereo or 5.1 surround (available only for 5.1 surround projects).”

  • You need to have two instances of MSP open simultaneously.
Copy from Project A timeline in one, paste onto Project B timeline in another.

Try clicking the arrow in front of “Source” to see the box.

  • Would using the Project Media window Details view, arranging the Modified column, clicking the upper left corner and importing all to a new track be an option too?

  • From MSPlatinum online Help (F1):
Right-click a file in the Project Media window and choose Select Timeline Events from the shortcut menu. The cursor moves to the first event that uses the media, the timeline scrolls to the cursor, and all events that use the selected media file in the active take are selected.

Btw, you’ll get context-sensitive help in MSP, if you
(from the Help menu,) choose What’s This?. Your mouse pointer is displayed as a question mark to indicate that you are in What’s This? help mode.
You can also press Shift+F1 to activate What’s This? help.
Click on any portion of the window for context-sensitive help about the item you clicked on.
