My issue is not with bringing them into Resolve. It’s the Final part of the project where you need to put everything back together in FCPX but still following the workprint. Including re-adding effects, versioning etc.

I had this problem as well. What i find works is to just go back to that one source clip that is giving you problems and re-export that clip back into Resolve, copy grade from the bad clip. Delete the bad clip from your media pool. Walla! You should’t have anymore problems.

    hope this helps.

Good to know. Actually, I realized after some digging that the person who exported the XML DID NOT use the correct export setting in Resolve. Thus the xml was pointing to the wrong clips. We re-exported and all was good. Thanks.

I did the Ripple training and was off and running. Great way to learn the software.

    Good luck!

Thanks. Yeah we pretty much baked in those shots. Actually, I was able to use Dynamic linking to replace our Pro Res footage with our RAW footage then render those clips out befoer we went to Resolve. Worked like a charm.

Also, try using a layer mix with your second power window.

Sorry, that’s what I meant. To record in. I don’t have any experience with the Intensity.

The Mini only allows you to monitor. If you need both I/O go with the TB Intensity. Also There is the Mini Recorder if you just need to send out.
