Trying to import XML sequences from Resolve back to Premiere. The XML relinks to the pre-graded footage. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Anyone else see this problem? Also, I’ve noticed that When the files are the correct graded footage, the file names on the timeline are the same as the pre graded footage but when I reveal in finder it matches back to the graded footage with a different file name. What is going on????

    Thanks!

I’ve only played a little with Resolve, and only gone from Premiere to Resolve, so can’t help with that. But, WRT the clip names in the timeline: when you add media to the timeline, a clip gets created with a default name that’s the same as the name of the media. However, those names are not linked — the clip name is independent from the media name. If you right-click on a clip in the timeline, you can there’s a rename option, which will change the name of the clip, but the media name remains untouched.

Good to know. Actually, I realized after some digging that the person who exported the XML DID NOT use the correct export setting in Resolve. Thus the xml was pointing to the wrong clips. We re-exported and all was good. Thanks.
