Delete your media database. Go into the folder, sort on ‘type’ and you’ll see a .mdb. Delete that and the .pmr file. You should be golden…

Sort your bin by resolution of the clips. Select the clips you want to redigitize. If you still have media with the clips, delete the media (just hit delete and UNCHECK master clips – you want to delete media ONLY). Also check your settings in digitize settings – make sure the ‘ignore compression settings’ is selected (I forget the exact wording, but it should be apparent when you see it..)

I’m pretty sure you can’t get HD through firewire. You’d need a Mojo DX to do that…

Is your deck set to HD?

Is your timeline set to output 1394? I don’t remember exactly where, but there should be a little button somewhere saying ‘1394’… As long as that is set, you really shouldn’t need the digital cut tool – just hit play on your timeline and play / record on your deck…

January 4, 2010 at 4:54 am in reply to: Mojo DX and SDI Loop-through to Component

The SDI mojo can only output SDI and composite at the same time. You can’t get component and SDI at the same time. You could loop component out of the deck…

Check the output quality – there is a little button on the bottom left of the timeline. It should be full green, but may be all yellow or half and half. Just click on it until it turn green.

You can change the name of the clip in the bin – it will update on the timeline.
